Competition Terms and Conditions (including privacy policy)

The following terms and conditions apply:
We are giving away the following prizes to be won by all participants:

• 1 Peggy Sue Vintage shopping voucher worth €100
• 1 Peggy Sue Vintage shopping voucher worth €50
• 1 Peggy Sue Vintage shopping voucher worth €25

Taking part in the competition

The competition involves submitting photos. These photos must not be images belonging to third parties, but must have been taken by the participants themselves.

To enter the prize draw, participants must send Peggy Sue Vintage a photo of themselves wearing an outfit purchased from Peggy Sue Vintage. This can be done in the following ways:

• By posting on their own Instagram account, tagging @peggysuevintage_frankfurt and using the hashtag #peggysuegewinnspiel
• By direct message to the Instagram account https://www.instagram.com/peggysuevintage_frankfurt/
• Via the Facebook account https://www.facebook.com/peggysuevintagefrankfurt by commenting on the competition post or via Facebook Messenger to the account

By submitting the image, participants agree to its use on our website and social media channels.

Use of submitted images

The submitted images will be published on our website peggysuevintage.de, and prizes will be raffled off amongst all entries. By submitting an image, participants agree that their image may be used without remuneration.

A further condition for participation in the competition is that the participant must be a consumer within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) and must be at least 18 years of age.

We reserve the right to exclude individuals from the competition, in particular if they provide false information, engage in any other form of manipulation or use unauthorised aids.

The winners will be determined as follows:

The winners will be selected at random. Only entries submitted during the entry period will be considered for the prize draw.

We reserve the right to amend, cancel or terminate the competition at any time without notice, without participants being entitled to make any claims.

Once the competition has ended, the winners will be drawn at random from all participants. We will announce the winners on 19 June in a post on Facebook and Instagram. Where applicable, the winners will also be notified of their win via a private message or by email. The winner must then send Peggy Sue Vintage their email address via a private message using the relevant function on the Instagram page instagram.com/peggysuevintage_frankfurt or by emailing info@peggysuevintage.de.

The prize will be sent as follows:

We will email the prize to the respective winner after they have provided their email address.

No enquiries will be made if the prize cannot be delivered. If the winner does not come forward within one week, their claim to the prize will lapse.

Upon dispatch, the risk of the prize being damaged or lost passes to the winner.

Exchange or transfer of the prize is excluded. Legal recourse is excluded. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Invalid provisions shall not affect the remaining terms and conditions.

Data protection declaration

1. Processing of personal data

By entering, we will collect your data (name, contact details, email address) only to the extent you have provided it, for the purpose of running the competition and notifying you if you win. This processing is carried out with your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You may withdraw this consent at any time without this affecting the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to such withdrawal. Your data will then be deleted. Your data will not be passed on to third parties. If you win, you consent to the publication of your profile or name on Instagram to announce the winner. Processing takes place with your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time. Your data will then be deleted.

2. Retention period

We will only retain your data for as long as is necessary for the competition. After that, it will be deleted within three months at the latest, unless you have consented to its further use or we have a legitimate interest in retaining it.

3. Data subjects’ rights

Under Articles 15–21 of the GDPR, you have the following rights: the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object, in particular to processing carried out pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR or for direct marketing purposes.

Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

Under Article 77 of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if you believe that your data is not being processed lawfully.

Right to object

If we process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. Following your objection, we will cease processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
