Do you have an actual retail store?

Yes, you can visit our brick-and-mortar store in Frankfurt, Germany. All items from the web shop are also available in the store. Our opening hours are Tuesday to Friday from 11 am to 7 pm, Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram for special events and extendend opening hours. We also offer private shopping appointments outside our regular store hours, please contact us for details.

Vintage - so it's second-hand clothing?

No, all clothing at Peggy Sue Vintage is so-called vintage inspired or vintage reproduction clothing based on the clothing styles of the 1920s to 1960s. In our Frankfurt store, you will also find a small selection of true vintage jewelry and accessories. These original vintage pieces are not available online and cannot be returned or exchanged. We do not carry modern vintage (second hand) clothing, and our vintage wedding dresses are new dresses inspired by 20th century styles and not used clothing or boho-style dresses.

Are the items in the store the same ones as in the web shop?

In our webshop you will find seasonal items like swimwear or coats which are not always on display in the shop. On the other hand, our retail store has new and seasonal items as well as hair accessories, cards and giftware that are not available online.

You can call us directly during our opening hours on +49-69-90437223 (Tuesday - Friday 11 am to 7 pm, Saturday 11 am to 5 pm CET). If you are calling outside our business hours, please leave a message on our answerphone and we will call you back.

Help, my favourite product/my size is sold out!

I'm unsure which size I need, can you help?

All our product descriptions feature a size chart and customer feedback on sizing that we have experienced in our shop. If you're still not sure, just give us a call or send an e-mail to info@peggysuevintage.de, we're happy to help you find the correct size. If possible, your measurements (bust, waist, hip) are a great help./p>

How can I pay?

You can pay via PayPal or via bank transfer - please note bank transfer is limited to European countries (see our Shipping and Payments page for a list).
If you want to pay via bank transfer, you will find our bank details in your order confirmation and on your invoice.

Please send your bank transfer payment within 5 working days. If we have not received payment within 14 working days, we reserve the right to cancel your order.
You can use PayPal even if you do not have a PayPal account, so you can use your credit card or direct debit.
In our Frankfurt store, we accept German and European debit (giropay/Maestro) cards, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB. We also offer tax free shopping to customers living outside the EU if you spend more than 50€.

How much does shipping cost?

Please see our Shipping and Payments page for shipping costs to your country. We ship via DHL if possible, tracked and signed. In some cases, we will need to use other shipping companies for overseas shipments using our shipping broker Transglobal Express.

I would prefer a different shipping method, for example UPS or Fedex.

Please give us a call or send an e-mail to info@peggysuevintage.de, we'll be happy to accomodate your wishes. However, shipping costs might be higher than listed on the website if we use a different courier service. We can also do express shipping upon request and will be happy to find the best shipping rate to your address.

Can I have my order shipped to another address (workplace, relatives ...)?

Of course, just enter a delivery address of your choice.

I don't live in Germany, do you ship to my country?

On our Shipping and  Payments page you will find all countries we ship to. Please note that additional customs fees, taxes and fees may apply for deliveries to non-EU countries and that we cannot calculate these fees for you. If your country is not listed, please contact us to find out if we can ship to your country. Please note that from January 1, 2023, we will not be able to ship to Spain any more.

Help, the item I ordered doesn't fit or I don't like it!

As with all online orders in the EU, you have a right to cancel your order. Please see our Instructions on Cancellation page for details. If you would like to exchange your order (for example, for a different size), please contact us via phone or e-mail - we will happily exchange items subject to availability.
We also accept returns and exchanges in our store during regular opening hours. However, if you are eligible for a refund, we need to do this cashless via the payment provider you used for your original order, we do not do cash refunds.

In-store purchases can only be exchanged for other items or a voucher due to German tax laws, we cannot refund your payment unless the item is faulty. If you want to exchange an item bought in our store, the item needs to be unworn with tags intact and with the original sales receipt, not older than 14 days. Some items cannot be exchanged, we will let you know if this is the case when you make a purchase.

Why is your store closed on Mondays? And on Sundays, come to that?

On top of being here for our customers, there is always work to do behind the scenes such as paperwork or bookkeeping. If you are visiting Frankfurt and can only visit on a Monday, we can make an appointment for you subject to availability. Please contact us in advance a few days before you plan to visit, and we’ll see what we can do.
Our store is closed on Sundays because that is the law in Germany. Sorry, we can’t make exceptions, but you can always order from our web shop and arrange a pickup during the week.

What advantages do I have if I create a customer account?

Please note that we are required to store information relevant to your past orders and payments for 10 years due to German tax laws.

How do I get to the store?

By public transport: Take bus no. 30 or 36 from Konstablerwache (direction Sachsenhausen Hainer Weg) and get off at Elisabethenstraße (just round the corner from our shop). You can also travel by local train, S-Bahn or U-Bahn to Lokalbahnhof, Südbahnhof or Schweizer Platz. Use rmv.de to plan your trip.
By car: We do not offer customer parking. Parking in the area is a bit difficult, some streets are resident parking only. The Parkhaus Sachsenhausen (public parking) on Walter-Kolb-Str. is a short walk away and cheaper than other public parking spaces in Frankfurt.

I am looking for a certain product or a certain brand.

Just ask us - sometimes we can place individual orders or we might have this item on pre-order anyway. We are also grateful for recommendations about new brands that would be a good addition to our range.
