This lovely Forties-style two piece set "CC41 Verity Peplum Suit Navy Blue" by Revival Vintage is every vintage style enthusiast's dream, and you can see its authentic origins in its name - the British government labeled garments with CC41 to show that these items adhered to the strict clothes rationing guidelines during the Second World War. These styles were often simple and elegant, proving that Less can definitely be More! This lovely suit is based on a historical pattern with great attention to detail. Fitted suit jacket with large round half-collar, nipped-in waist and deep scalloped peplum. The jacket closes with covered buttons and rouleau loops in front. The matching narrow pencil skirt closes at the side with a zip and button. The jacket features half-length sleeves, with its lightweight linen-tencel mix fabric this is a perfect style for summer.
