This wonderfully authentic 1940s-style midi dress takes us straight into the world of "Miss Marple" or "Call the Midwife": "Spirit Linen Dress Cornflower Blue" by Revival Vintage is a narrow Forties-style wiggle dress modelled on a historical dress with great attention to detail. Fitted bodice with a wide wing collar, four pearl buttons at the front and two rows of decorative pleating across the chest. Vertical darts above the waist create the typical Forties silhouette. Narrow skirt with two deep pockets trimmed with a scalloped edge - the box pleat at the back of the skirt ensures freedom of movement, while a matching fabric belt emphasises the waist. Zip at the side. Very comfortable, lightweight material, perfect for summer.
This style runs small, we recommend sizing up. Skirt length 76 cm in size UK 14/L. The colour shown in the photos of the model is closest to the actual colour.
