Resourceful knitters of that era loved the Fair Isle pattern not only because they could be creative, but also because it was a way to use up left-over wool. There's no scrimping on comfort on this version, the beautiful Fair Isle pattern in wool white and shades of blue makes this waist-length cardigan a perfect addition to your favourite high waist trousers, winter skirts or vintage style dresses. Shawl collar to keep out the cold, the full-length sleeves are lightly puffed at the shoulders. Ribbed knit at the collar, cuffs and hem, buttons in front with blue vintage-style buttons. A beautiful style for town and country!
